Women On The Rise

Talitha Cumi is all about helping the little girl on the inside stand up and arise to the occasion and this past year we can say that we have done just that. Rather it be on the spiritual level with Bible and Bonnets every Saturday, where we constantly get our souls fed with the word of God that the Holy Spirit downloads to the founders week after week. Or the outreach that is done within, not only just our TC community but the community surrounding us. Or rather it be the scallop potatoes that the “Earnest Chef” prepares to feed our hungry belly. Helping heal women is what we are called to do and we have been busy doing just that. Changing our belief in the God we thought we knew and understanding his Nature and character helps us to be focused more than ever, on knowing not only who we are but WHOS we are.

The first week in February the Board members had the chance to come together for a season on reflecting and vision casting for this new year and we are happy to share some of the things that we discussed with you. Last year was a great year for Talitha Cumi, we hosted our very first Bibles and Brunch LIVE session and the turn out was amazing. We believed God to sell 50 tickets and we did just that. Once again thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, we are truly grateful. Thank you to the committee who pulled it off with only three weeks to plan , the vison came to life. We also had a great year with outreach, we were able to donate over $1000 helping women in need during the holiday season……
